How to Play
×Mathic is a magical fast math search game that'll test your speed and accuracy!
Find an equation that = the Magic Number (M.N.)
You can see the current Magic Number above the grid:
HIGHLIGHT equations by tapping
When you find the correct equation, tap the first number and then the last number:
Equations can be highlighted horizontally and vertically, either backwards or forwards.
Note: In Mathic, equations must start with a number, followed by an operator, followed by another number (e.g. 7+3). You can also create longer equations, like 7+3+4.
Solve as many Magic Numbers as you can before the game ends!
Build streaks for higher scores
The more Magic Numbers you solve in a row, the higher your streak will grow! A higher streak will lead to higher scores, so watch that accuracy!
Stuck? Use a skip!
To use a skip, just tap the current Magic Number:
You only get 3 skips per round, so use them wisely!
Try the multiple game modes!
By default, this is a fast math game with 60 second rounds. However, you can change your game mode in the settings menu for different experiences.
There are 4 modes available:
- Timed - default mode (60 seconds per round. Clock starts as soon as you solve the first magic number. Game ends when the timer hits 0.)
- Timed+ (60 seconds per round. +5 seconds for every correct answer. Clock starts as soon as you solve the first magic number. Game ends when the timer hits 0.)
- Lives (No time limit. 3 lives per round. Lose a life for each incorrect answer. Game ends as soon as you run out of lives.)
- Zen (Play forever. No lives, timers, scores, or streaks.)
Customize your game! You can enable dark mode, change game modes, try different operators, set a focus number, modify the grid dimensions, and more in the game's settings.
